Why has Insights-X 2020 been cancelled?
The physical expo Insights-X 2020 has been cancelled due to the current situation surrounding Covid-19. Travel bans, social distancing and the economic situation of many participants make it difficult, if not impossible, to make plans at the present time. In our role as organiser, we have made this decision to protect the health of our exhibitors and visitors and to give everyone plenty of notice for future planning. It is also our aim to create a personal experience for everyone. Under the current circumstances, this simply would not be feasible.
When will the next stationary Insights-X take place?
The next Insights-X will take place in the first half of October 2021. The coronavirus has led to the cancellation of many events at the venue which will have repercussions well into next year. As a result, we are currently in negotiations with the venue operator to determine the best possible timing for the next event.
What special safety measures will be put in place for the next fair?
The health of all participants is our top priority. Spielwarenmesse eG is in constant and close contact with the venue operator NürnbergMesse and the public health authorities. We will continue to adapt our safety concept to the changing situation right the way up to the next event. The latest information is also available here: www.who.int and www.rki.de
What will happen with the travel arrangements I’ve already made (hotels, flights, train tickets etc.)?
Services provided by third parties are bound by the contracts made between the parties involved. As a result, Spielwarenmesse eG will not refund any costs incurred for such services. Please contact your contractual partner direct.
Will I incur any costs for my stand space as a result of Insights-X being cancelled?* / What will happen to the registration fee I’ve already paid following the cancellation of Insights-X?
The registration fee you have already paid will either be refunded to you or carried over to your next appearance in 2021. Please get in touch with your assigned contact.
I have heard that Insights-X has been cancelled. Are you offering an alternative?
The team is currently working on a web-based offering which will enable participants to stay in tune with the stationery market and forge new business contacts. We will keep everyone informed of the changes. You can continue to get in touch with your contacts at the fair who will answer any questions you have and guide you through the process.
I recently received an invoice from Spielwarenmesse eG/The payment dates on my invoice are due shortly. What do I do?
The payment dates will lose their validity because we are cancelling the invoices. Please disregard these payment dates. You will receive an official cancellation shortly.
When I made my booking, I ordered the stand construction package with MEPLAN GmbH. What will happen with this service?
We are in close contact with our service partner MEPLAN GmbH and will take care of the reverse transaction on your behalf. You will not incur any costs for the stand package you have booked.
Can my existing registration be transferred to Insights-X 2021?
We are delighted that you want to take part in Insights-X 2021! Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer your registration for 2020 to next year. However, we would be pleased to make a note of your interest. We will let you know as soon as we open the online registration for Insights-X 2021.
When can I register for Insights-X 2021?
